Before You Subscribe to Dazn: The Questions Fight Fans Ask First

What am I paying for once I’m signed in?
Fair question, and the answer is bigger than one card. Dazn is a sports streaming service delivering live and on-demand sport at 1080HD quality, with over 110,000 live events a year across more than 200 markets.
In the United States it is known first as a home for boxing, MMA, soccer and international basketball. It holds the streaming rights to all Matchroom Boxing, Queensberry Promotions and Golden Boy Promotions events, and its combat sports offering covers over 185 fight nights per year. That is a fight night most weeks, not an occasional treat.
On the soccer side, Dazn was the global broadcaster of the 2025 FIFA Club World Cup and carries selected UEFA Champions League and Europa League matches plus every Serie A match, all in Spanish commentary. So there is sport on between the big boxing weekends, not just on the nights you circled in the calendar.
Do the big fight nights cost extra on top?
This is the question that stops most people, because pay-per-view has trained fight fans to expect a second bill. Dazn pay-per-view events are available as a separate purchase, so that route does exist.
But the company announced the Dazn Ultimate Plan on November 7, 2025, available to purchase immediately. It costs $44.99 in the United States and includes every Fight Night event streamed on the platform, in addition to access to all pay-per-view fight cards.
So the choice is between buying cards one at a time as they come, or taking a plan that already includes every Fight Night on the platform and the pay-per-view cards with it, across a schedule of more than 185 fight nights a year. If the next big card is already on your list, Ultimate is the plan written for you.
Will it run on the screens I already own?
All content is watched through the Dazn app or a web browser. The app is available on smart TVs, phones, tablets, streaming devices, games consoles and web browsers, and Dazn is available on the web at Dazn.com.
To set up, go to the app store on your smart TV, phone, tablet or streaming device, search for Dazn and download it, or go to the website. You can sign up using Apple, Google or Facebook options, and a free account gives you access to Dazn’s free content, including FIFA+ and the Matchroom boxing channel.
Subscribing happens inside the product: open the app or go to Dazn.com/home, sign in, find the sport or competition page using the ‘All Sports’ tab in the top menu or the search bar, click ‘Get started’, choose from the subscription options presented, click continue and enter your payment details. Accepted methods are credit card, debit card, PayPal, Apple in-app payment, Google in-app payment and gift card. Dazn is available throughout the United States.
What if I only want it for one month?
Then look at the terms before you pick. The Monthly Flex plan has a 30-day cancellation period, and a pro-rated amount may still be charged, usually lower than the regular monthly fee. The Annual – Pay Monthly plan is a 12-month contract where payments are taken monthly until the end of the term, and cancelling may only stop future renewal rather than the current billing cycle. Choose the one that matches how long you intend to stay.
Cancelling is done in the account area. Open the Dazn app, click the profile icon at the top right corner, go to My Account, scroll to the footer section and click Cancel subscription, click Continue, choose a reason for cancellation, then enter your password to complete the process. You keep access to Dazn until the cancellation date you selected.
Knowing exactly where the exit is makes signing up before the next card a straightforward decision.
Is there anything here after the final bell?
There is. Dazn will be the exclusive direct-to-consumer streaming home of MSG Networks and YES Network during the 2026-2027 NBA and NHL seasons. Subscribers within those regional coverage territories get live Yankees, Knicks, Nets, Rangers, Devils, Islanders and Sabres games, 24/7 feeds of the MSG, MSG Sportsnet and YES networks, and original programming. If you already receive MSG Networks or the YES Network as part of a pay-TV subscription, that content continues to reach you via the Dazn platform at no additional cost.
Dazn also sells standalone subscriptions to 19 different teams across the NBA, NHL, WNBA and MLB for subscribers in local markets, letting you stream local team games that are not nationally televised. MSG+, YES and Monumental+ are the only add-ons that do not come with a free trial. And in the US, Prime Video customers can access Dazn sports content as a subscription, which still requires a separate Dazn add-on.
